Vixen

Vixen is a Windows program that enables you to configure professional lighting devices. There is support for several common communication protocols, including DMX, E1.31 and Renard. Moreover, a large selection of premade visual effects is available.

Manual device control

With the help of this utility users can manipulate various types of lights, from basic incandescent bulbs to sophisticated RGB LEDs. It is easy to manage thousands of individual sources in real time, which is critical when creating large scale projects.

There is an option to synchronize visual effects with audio tracks. This is particularly helpful for designing stunning and immersive displays where the lights follow the rhythm, tempo and dynamics of the music.

Project customization

Like in myDMX Software, you are able to choose from a large library of effects. The collection includes hundreds of:

• Fades;
• Strobes;
• Twinkles;
• Chases, etc.

Instruments to create new effects and syncing them with songs for a more dynamic presentation are provided. Users can schedule and manage complex shows directly within the application as well, which is beneficial for large scale installations where timed performances need to run automatically.
