About mSetup
mSetup is a Windows application that contains tools for interacting with action cameras made by Mobius. Users can update internal device firmware, manage multiple custom shooting profiles and preview video input in real time. Moreover, it is possible to tweak advanced image parameters.
Camera configuration
After starting the program you are prompted to connect the target device to the computer via USB cable. This unlocks a wide range of preferences such as:
- Output resolution;
- Time lapse intervals;
- Recording indicator;
- Date format, etc.
Similar to Pro Surveillance System, users can activate automatic motion detection and adjust its sensitivity. Several webcam modes are available, ensuring compatibility with specific camera models. Common TV standards like NTSC and PAL are supported as well.
Profile management
There are instruments to create two shooting modes with independent settings, which is crucial when dealing with complex lighting conditions or other obstacles. You are able to change the overall sharpness, exposure, contrast and saturation. Additionally, flexible white balance and color grading parameters are provided.
