Mathematica is a Windows application that lets you perform mathematical operations and calculations. It is possible to find roots, transform equations, simplify expressions and build complex graphs. Like in Mathcad, there is an interpretive functional programming language included. With its help you are able to automate execution of all operations.

Calculations

There are instruments for performing the following actions:

• finding roots for polynomial and trigonometric equations;
• simplifying expressions;
• integrating and differentiating functions;
• making Laplace and Fourier transformations;
• calculating probabilities;
• working with matrices and vectors;
• converting numbers into prime factors;
• locating the largest common denominator for multiple integers.

All operations are executed sequentially from top to bottom. It is possible to build graphs and diagrams as well as find function domains.

Additional instruments

Using the included Wolfram programming language you can create complex scripts for automating all calculations. Moreover, there is an option to link external libraries for expanding basic functionality. You are able to add loops, cycles and conditional transitions.
