Geometers Sketchpad

Geometers Sketchpad is a Windows scientific program that helps users visualize a wide range of geometric objects such as circles, triangles and squares. There are tools for measuring individual sections of the image. Please note that the free demo version of Geometers Sketchpad has limited capabilities.

How it works

You can add basic shapes to the workspace to begin creating a new sketch. It is possible to explore and analyze all properties of geometric objects. This functionality is helpful for studying a wide range of mathematical topics.

Users are able to add coordinate axes to the picture. The scale and measurement units are customizable.

Additional options

Similar to Microsoft Mathematics, instruments for solving algebraic equations and plotting complex function graphs are included. Moreover, you can visualize derivatives and integrals to study the concepts of limits and continuity.
