Coolcam

Coolcam is a Windows software that offers you instruments to take screenshots and capture display contents to a video file. There is an option to select the desired target monitor. Moreover, it is possible to record microphone and webcam input.

Screen recording

Users can choose the target area or capture the entire display. Additionally, tools for adding system sounds to the finished clip are provided. This functionality is especially helpful when creating:

Unlike AutoScreenRecorder, the program allows you to schedule future recording sessions. It is easy to organize live broadcasts on YouTube, Twitch or Facebook as well.

Capture parameters

There is an option to choose the preferred video quality, frame rate and output format. Users are able to switch between different encoders depending on existing hardware.

You can control microphone gain and automatically reduce background noise to ensure optimal audio quality. The default destination folders for screenshots and video recordings are customizable as well.
