ACOM PC Lite is a Windows utility designed to work with data recorded on a Siemens Medical Disc. There is also support for the standardized DICOM format.

Interface

The main window is split in two parts: patient details and study information. The first section contains data such as the name, ID, birth date, sex and doctor commentaries.

For the scientists performing medical studies there are data fields like the study ID, access number, examination date and time, description, institution information and the details about performing and referring physicians.

This software does not support interacting with microscope data. For that users can utilize a program called HiView.

Viewer mode

This option is designed for analyzing medical images obtained from the patients. The Scene Directory section lets you quickly overview all the pictures as thumbnails.

After choosing the specific image, it is possible to enlarge it for closer examination. White balance correction setting is available for enhancing the picture quality. There are options for zooming and inverting the colors as well.

If the data is presented in a video format, users are able to change the playback speed or jump to the required timestamp. It is possible to display the electrocardiogram synchronized with the video.

Features

  • free to download and use;
  • lets you interact with medical images;
  • supports DICOM format;
  • can display both pictures and video data;
  • compatible with all modern versions of Windows.
