ABSYNTH is a Windows program that lets you create and edit songs. Several sound processing modules such as Mutator, Aetherizer, Cloud Filter, Supercomb and Feedback are available. Standard VST plugins are fully supported.

Audio editor

This application provides flexible sound distortion tools. Users can adjust the gain, tempo, pitch and other audio characteristics. Moreover, there are buttons for regulating the feedback strength, delay and grain rate.

Like in Cakewalk Sonar, the filter quantization level is adjustable. You are able to tune transposition options as well. Knobs for customizing wet and dry output attributes are provided. Additionally, it is possible to simulate surround sound.

Input

The virtual keyboard is located at the bottom of the main interface. There is a button for toggling hold mode. Users can record all audio input to a standard MP3 or WAV file.

Advanced filters

You are able to customize oscillator sound channels by applying the Cloud and Supercomb filters to the track. The latter option lets you adjust additional feedback and tonal parameters. It is possible to install third-party VST plugins to expand basic functionality as well.
