WinX MediaTrans is a Windows application for downloading data from Apple devices. It can be used as an alternative to iTunes for backing up personal information. Please note that the free trial version limits the amount of file transfers.

Connection process

After opening the utility you can attach the device to the computer via USB cable. Supported phones and tablets are detected automatically. The device name, current battery charge level, installed iOS version and amount of available free space are displayed in the main window.

Available instruments

There are buttons for transferring photos, videos, music, voice memos and ringtones to and from the mobile device. Moreover, tools for encrypting sensitive files with a personal password are included. Users can convert a part of internal iPhone memory to the standard flash drive partition for moving any data.

The list of all audio tracks and playlists saved on the mobile device is available. It is possible to add new songs to the library without synchronizing all iPhone contents with iTunes. You can download personal video clips to the hard drive and delete source files to free up the space on the mobile device.
