ZaraStudio

ZaraStudio is a useful program for Windows that gives you the means to automate the rotation of tracks on your radio station. This means you can broadcast your favorite music, commercials and other pre-recorded audio files.

Overview

In contrast to RadioDJ, the project was designed to work as a standard desktop app and does not require any server to function properly. Thus, both the installation and maintenance is very straightforward. However, if you want to access and tweak advanced features, you may also use a database for storage purposes.

It is necessary to mention that with this utility you do not have to convert your audio files to specific formats, as it comes with an extensive compatibility list. To be more precise, you have the ability to load MP2, MP3, WAV, OGG, FLAC and AAC+ items. In addition, there is no limit in regards to sampling frequency and bitrate.

Crossfade

One of the more convenient features of the tool is that it enables you to overlap the last seconds of an audio clip with the first ones of the following, while it fades out. You are also able to configure crossfade parameters both globally and specifically for each file. If you do not set these times, the program will try to get them automatically, by analyzing the audio level.
