VariCAD

VariCAD is a Windows program that offers access to a Computer-Aided Design system. Similar to OpenSCAD, ZWCAD , GstarCAD , and other utilities, this app allows you to create schematics and drawings. The software provides all necessary tools for working with three-dimensional models. An integrated calculator is available for performing computations.

Editor

Upon launching this application, it is necessary to open a file with extensions DXF, STP, DWB, or DWG. The program also allows you to create a brand new project. There are tools for drawing and 3D modeling. Additionally, it is possible to adjust the scale and viewing angle.

The main feature of this software is designing mechanisms and their parts. There is a user-friendly editor where you can work on functional and detailed 3D models. Please keep in mind that parameters of each component can be modified, and assembly parts can be colored differently.

The program includes tools for creating solid bodies based on specified contours. Furthermore, you may model complex and spiral surfaces.

Conversion

There is an embedded converter for changing the file format. It is also possible to export 3D models as high-resolution raster images.
