Uniform Server

Uniform Server is a Windows application oriented toward web administrators and developers. It enables users to create, test and deploy a personal server. Essential components like Apache, MySQL and PHP are included.

Initial configuration

The utility is portable and does not require a separate installation. After downloading the package you can extract its contents to any folder on the computer. The next step is to run the executable file in the root directory.

There are buttons to launch the Apache and MySQL modules. Users are able to manually tweak a wide range of important parameters such as:

• Communication ports;
• SSL encryption;
• PHP version and many more.

It is possible to edit the HOSTS file that contains domain redirection rules. You can add new entries to the list or remove existing records, personalizing network settings.

Console

Users may interact with the server via the command line interface. This functionality is particularly beneficial for automating repetitive operations and streamlining the workflow. Comprehensive documentation describing all available CLI arguments is available.
