Nginx

Nginx is a Windows software oriented toward network administrators and other IT specialists. It empowers users to create and deploy a custom server capable of handling thousands of concurrent connections with minimal resource consumption. Please note that all interactions with Ngnix are performed through a command line console.

Server parameters

The application utilizes asynchronous, non blocking and event driven architecture. You can configure it to act as an intermediary between clients and backend platforms, enhancing system security.

An option to distribute traffic across multiple machines is provided. This is particularly beneficial for optimizing resource usage under heavy loads. Supported optimization algorithms include:

• Round robin;
• IP hash;
• Least connections.

Network management

It is possible to work with HTTP and HTTP requests. The utility enables SSL/TLS termination as well, further improving server protection. Similar to XenServer, there are instruments for caching frequently accessed content to reduce the load on backend hardware. Both static and dynamic content can be effortlessly served at the same time as well.
