About Karen’s Directory Printer
Karen’s Directory Printer is a Windows software for scanning specific folders on the PC to generate lists of included files and subdirectories. Similar to WizTree. there are flexible sorting and filtering capabilities to suit project requirements. Furthermore, several output formats such as TXT, DIR and TSV are supported.
Data analysis
The first step is to select the target folder on the PC. There is a checkbox for displaying network shares alongside local content, enabling you to analyze remote drives. Additionally, it is possible to exclude certain files from the operation based on various criteria.
Users might customize the information included in output listings. There is a wide range of available attributes such as:
- Name;
- Size;
- Type;
- Creation date and more.
A drop down menu to specify the preferred sorting method is provided. You are able to tweak page margins and other formatting parameters as well.
Export
Resulting lists can be saved to the hard drive in several formats for further manipulation and analysis. Alternatively, users may send finished pages to the printer to create a hard copy for easy reference.
