Intel Turbo Boost Technology Monitor 2.0.82.0 is a discontinued visualization utility for older Intel processors and Windows systems. It only displayed when Turbo Boost was active; it did not enable or control processor frequency.

How Turbo Boost actually works

On supported processors, Intel Turbo Boost Technology works automatically under operating-system control and within power, current and temperature limits. No driver or application is required. BIOS availability depends on the system manufacturer.

Version status

Intel removed the Monitor from its Download Center on June 30, 2014. The hosted file is retained only for legacy reference and may not work on current Windows versions or newer processors.
