Back4Sure is a Windows software that empowers users to safeguard critical files on the hard drive from hardware malfunction and virus attacks by creating a second copy on another storage device. It is possible to exclude specific data formats from the resulting archive, reducing its size and speeding up the operation.

Backup process

The main window contains a list of all detected logical partitions. You can select target directories by placing a checkmark against them. Moreover, there is an option to include subfolders.

Users may compress output packages to save valuable storage space. Additionally, instruments for encrypting archives with a password to prevent unauthorized access are provided. There is support for several security algorithms such as:

• ZipCrypto;
• AES 256;
• XChaCha20.

Recovery instructions

Like in SmartBackup, previously backed up files can be restored to their original locations in the event of a catastrophic hardware failure or accidental deletion. This functionality is especially advantageous for minimizing downtime in a work environment. Additionally, you are able to automatically record all critical events to a separate text document, simplifying troubleshooting efforts.
