ASF EDITOR

ASF EDITOR is a Windows application designed for working with various types of video and audio recordings. Users are able to easily remove unwanted fragments from original files. There is support for the ASF, WMV and WMA formats.

Editing capabilities

After launching the software you can import the source video by clicking the corresponding icon in the main workspace. Buttons for starting and stopping the playback process are available. It is possible to manually control the sound volume as well.

Like in Movavi Video Suite, users are able to mark the beginning and finish of the desired segment. The next step is to click Record to initiate reencoding. Resulting clips can be manually saved to any directory on the hard drive.

Advanced options

There are tools for preventing the automatic indexing of the output file, which is particularly beneficial when working on a low end PC. Additionally, it is possible to toggle keyframe loading in preview mode.

You can preserve the original aspect ratio through the checkmark at the top of the interface. This functionality is intended for maintaining source image dimensions during conversion.
