Safenet Authentication Client is a Windows software for confirming your identity without entering long and complex passwords. Like eToken PKI Client, it is based on the Public Key Infrastructure encryption method and requires a special USB flash drive for information decryption.

How it works

Users are instructed to install the utility and insert the security token into any USB port on the computer for accessing protected data. It is possible to provide an additional layer of safety by adding a personal password.

All connected USB tokens are displayed in the main window. There are buttons for renaming the drive, changing the access passphrase, deleting all contents from the device and viewing detailed information about the token.

Preferences

The Settings menu contains fields for specifying the minimum and maximum password length. Moreover, options for adjusting the duration of token usage period and the number of allowed consecutive login attempts are available. There is a drop-down menu for configuring password complexity requirements.

Advanced parameters include checkboxes for enabling the single logon feature and allowing automatic password quality assessments. The system tray icon can be hidden as well.
