Nethermind is a high-performance Ethereum protocol execution program for Windows built on .NET, which also features support for Clique, Aura, and Ethash. The software solution offers fast sync speed and may be enhanced with external plugins. You can access rich on-chain data thanks to JSON-RPG based on the Kestrel web server. The node monitoring is complemented by Grafan analytics and Seq logging.

General notes

The client was developed to be adaptable. This means, you are able to write your own plugins to utilize its full potential. It is compatible with a wide range of modules, including Block Tree Visitors, RPC, Config, Devp2p, TxPool, CLI and Tracers. If you want to mine Ethereum and other cryptocurrencies on your PC, you may use another program called Claymore.

Setup and configuration

In order to install the utility on your computer, the developer recommended using another tool called Sedge. Basically, it helps to perform the entire on-premise, full node setup via generated docker-compose scripts based on the selected client and preferred configuration. Thus, you can test your nodes and apps, or expose the API and Checkpoint Sync endpoints.
