MediaMonkey is a Windows utility for media playback. It is possible to access files stored locally or on a network drive as well as stream video broadcasts from online sources. Powerful instruments for managing and organizing the personal media collection are provided as well.

Player

The main window contains buttons for starting, pausing and stopping the currently selected song or video clip. There are tools for shuffling the playlist, displaying the frequency equalizer and adjusting the output volume. Like in RadioSure, users are able to listen to online radio stations.

Media library

You can specify source directories with the collection of audio tracks and movies. All subfolders will be scanned to detect compatible files. It is possible to automatically add metadata to input items, download album art and find extra content such as song lyrics.

Interface customization

Users are able to change the visual appearance of the main window to better fit personal requirements. Files can be displayed in the form of a list or as a grid with thumbnails. Moreover, there is an option to hide or show various items like playlists, storage devices and folders on the left side panel for easier navigation.
