GoToMeeting is a Windows software for hosting webinars and other online events. Like in Zoom, you are able to conduct video meetings and join existing conferences. One session supports up to 15 participants.

Getting started

It is necessary to create an account on the official website for accessing main functionality. An active email is required for proceeding. The next step is to login and upload the avatar image.

After that users can join video conferences by entering the name or unique ID of the event. There are buttons for temporarily disabling audio and video during the session.

Event organizing

You are able to create new meetings and invite other people to join by sharing the URL or chat room ID. Conference administrators can mute individual participants to prevent potential trolling and harassment.

There is an option to share the display. It is possible to show the whole desktop or select a separate window. Additionally, users can exchange text messages in the included chat.

The program allows you to schedule future meetings. Text fields for the event name and planned date are provided. Organizers can set a password that will be necessary for accessing the conference.
