Feed the Beast

Feed the Beast lets users change the default Minecraft launcher. It offers video reviews for discovering new mods and a library for easy management of your content.

Setting up

To install the app, users can run the executable file. Additional software called Overwolf will be downloaded and installed together with the main program. It is used for displaying an in-game overlay with live match data and other information.

This launcher only works with the latest release of Minecraft. To play an older version of the game you can download KeiNett Launcher.

Mod management

The homepage of the new launcher contains the official modpacks provided by the Feed the Beast developer. Users can also download mods made by the Curseforge team. It is possible to get older versions of every modification for resolving compatibility issues.

The Library panel shows installed mods and lets you update and delete them. Moreover, settings of every item can be tweaked such as the screen resolution and the version of Java to run the game. The amount of memory allocated to the game instance can be adjusted.

You can watch video reviews of the mods on the Discover panel and choose the ones that better fit your playstyle. The included News page shows the latest information about the game.
