ViewMate is a Windows application for viewing and modifying circuit board layouts. There are instruments for measuring distances between individual elements. The Smart DFM module lets users ensure compliance with manufacturing rules and limitations as well as estimate the production price.

Viewing options

It is possible to import DPF, ODB and HPGL files into the workspace. Moreover, you can open standard AutoCAD drawings and CAM aperture lists. There is an option to print the design.

Users are able to measure sizes of separate components and distances between them. Available measurement units include inches, millimeters, centimeters and microns. The resolution scale is adjustable as well.

Smart DFM

There are powerful instruments for preparing the PCB design to be manufactured. You can select one of the included rule sets to ensure compliance with the correct standards. The next step is to choose the number of layers and required copper thickness.

After configuring the outlines and specifying drilling details users are able to review the project and calculate the approximate production price.
