TechGems is a program for Windows which serves as a plugin for Rhino 3 and 4, prominent 3D CAD software. Aimed at jewelry designers, it is developed to enhance its base capabilities, enabling the creation of intricate models of rings, bracelets, necklaces, and more.

Dynamic modifications

The plugin empowers you to generate a pave of stones on any surface with a single click. You have the flexibility to adjust various parameters such as size, shape, color, and distribution. The pave automatically updates itself in response to modifications.

With a simple click, you can generate a profile curve along any edge or curve. The app provides a library of presets, and you have the option to create custom ones. Notably, this feature also supports dynamic changes.

Libraries and reports

You can access a catalog of stones of diverse shapes, size, colors, and cuts. It is possible to import your own custom objects or modify existing ones. The utility facilitates the generation of a report detailing all stones incorporated in the model. It includes number, weight, color, cut, and price.

The tool offers a library of metals, featuring different colors, finishes, and prices. You can use personalized assets or make adjustments to presets. The reporting functionality is also present. The document can be exported in formats like PDF, Excel, or CSV. Unfortunately, the project is no longer supported.
