SoapUI is a Windows utility that lets web developers check and verify the project by applying artificial loads and testing security parameters. There is support for multiple network protocols.

How it works

This program contains professional instruments for validating various web services. You can import source XML files or create a blank SOAP or REST document. There are options for adding new tests to the queue.

After programming all verification operations users are able to run the checks by clicking the Start button. The results are displayed in the console window at the bottom of the main interface. It is possible to save current parameters for future use.

Settings

There are flexible HTTP options. You can disable response decompression, close the connection after each SOAP request and replace duplicate forward slashes.

Proxy settings include the host IP address, port and user credentials. This functionality is helpful for bypassing corporate or regional network restrictions. There are other solutions like SocksCap64 for creating proxy tunnels.

Users are able to link various third-party apps to this software by selecting the corresponding executable files in the Preferences menu.
