NcStudio is a Windows application for interacting with CNC equipment. It caters to different sectors, including woodworking, metalworking, stone processing and advertising. Users are able to import 3D objects and convert them to G code instructions.

Model preparation

You can modify existing toolpaths, adjust speeds and visualize the machining process in a virtual environment before execution. This is helpful for quickly identifying potential errors and overlay issues. Additionally, there is a vast library of premade macros for common cutting operations such as pocketing, drilling and profiling.

Like in Universal Gcode Sender, it is possible to generate G code instructions based on a specific 3D model. Resulting snippets are compatible with a majority of modern CNC devices.

Manual control

Instruments for manipulating machine axes, monitoring spindle speed and tracking the overall project progress in real time are provided. NcStudio displays error messages during operation, aiding in troubleshooting and maintenance. Moreover, users are able to turn on audio alerts to be notified about critical issues.
