FM Modifier is an intuitive save editor program for Football Manager 2008 that gives you the ability to change finances, stadiums, kits, contracts and more, while the game is loaded. The application features a simple and easy-to-navigate graphical user interface. It is compatible with most modern Windows computers.
Overview
After launching the software, you are welcomed by a simple layout with all available functions neatly packed inside the main menu. Here, you are able to load the save file by clicking on the corresponding button and selecting the game directory. Next, you can edit various attributes, including the following:
- finances;
- clubs;
- players;
- staff;
- skills,
- contracts;
- stadiums;
- kits.
In addition, you have the ability to control the process via keyboard shortcuts. They allow you to browse a pool of players, go to the search box, view options, load and save data, as well as switch pages and quit the program.
Setup
First, you have to unpack the downloaded archive. You can do this with several tools, such as jZip or WinZip. The installation is fairly straightforward. All you need to do is run the executable file and follow the provided instructions.
