Unlike in EaseUS Partition Master, it is possible to turn dynamic disks back to the original state while preserving all information. With the help of this utility you can ensure that the operating system will still boot even after converting the main drive partition.

Available operations

There is a simple wizard tool for quick HDD management. The first step is to select the operation method from two available options:

convert a dynamic disk to a basic disk;
convert any dynamic volumes to basic partitions.

The first mode lets users safely revert any disk to the original state without erasing personal data from it. Meanwhile, the second option is intended for transforming simple, spanned, striped, mirrored and RAID-5 volumes.

Conversion process

After choosing the required method you can click the Next button for proceeding to the partition selection screen. Please note that only dynamic volumes will be displayed in the list. It is possible to preview the changes before performing the transformation. A confirmation window will pop up when the operation is complete.

It is important to mention that Dynamic Disk Converter is a paid utility. The free trial version does not allow users to finish the conversion.
