DJI Ace Waypoint is a Windows utility that helps users change the parameters of the DJI auto-pilot hardware. Advanced servo settings are provided in the app.

Getting ready

It is necessary to prepare the helicopter before running the utility. You are instructed to mount every module included in the DJI Ace Waypoint package:

main controller;
IMU device;
GPS unit.

All the necessary wiring for the controller is provided with the system. A detailed step-by-step guide is included as well. When the helicopter is ready, users can start the program.

Auto-pilot settings

It is recommended to run the included Setup Wizard to configure the helicopter.

You are able to select the orientation of the IMU module depending on the mounting position. Forward, Backward, Left and Right options are available. Moreover, you can enter the exact three dimensional coordinates in cm to specify the unit location further. The included preview image displays the modules on the helicopter model to help you place them correctly.

Options for the helicopters that do not have a stabilizer bar in the rotor are provided. It is possible to adjust the gain and the cyclic rate. Servo parameters can be modified as well.

After tuning all the settings users can check the auto-pilot configuration by pressing the testing buttons in the app.
