DirectionHUD is a Windows software for integrating a compass into the Minecraft gameplay process. It is possible to change the on-screen position of the new panel. There is a collection of visual styles for customizing the HUD design.

How to install

It is important to mention that the bspkrsCore mod is required for the correct functioning of this plugin. Both addons can be integrated through the Curseforge program or activated manually via a custom launcher like Feed the Beast.

The officially supported Minecraft version is 1.8. However, you are able to try the mod in other editions of the game as well.

Compass parameters

Users can type the “/directionhud config” command into the console to open the Settings menu. It is possible to configure custom horizontal and vertical offsets to better fit the compass into the interface. Regular mod update checks are performed automatically when users are connected to the internet.

The HUD size is locked to 65×12 pixels. There are four default visual compass styles to choose from. Moreover, you can add modified PNG image files to add new themes. The maximum number of personal styles is 10.
