General notes

The main purpose of this application is to help you discover and configure SBCS devices and platforms. Once the network is in place, it offers synchronization of settings, diagnostic instruments, and real time status updates. Alternatively, you may try a tool called Cisco CLI Analyzer.

What is more, the utility enables you to activate different Cisco security features, such as Network Address Translation and firewalls. In addition, you have the option to make the Cisco Unified Communications 500 Series to act as a VPN server.

Setup wizards

The software incorporates a telephony setup wizard. It facilitates the configuration of various IP addressing aspects like WAN IP as well as voice and data for VLAN IP. The wizard also extends its capabilities to include functions for automated attendant, call blast, hunt groups, and more.

The video monitoring setup component simplifies the procedure of configuring streaming from specific Cisco surveillance cameras to a wireless IP phone. The telephone VPN wizard helps you to set up the SSL VPN client, delivering voice connectivity to remote locations with Internet access.
