8oot Logo Changer is a simple program for Windows that allows you to easily replace the boot image on their computer with a custom one. Please note that the tool can only be run on 8 or 8.1 editions of the Microsoft operating system. If you want to pick a custom boot logo for your Apple mobile device, you may use another utility called WinPwn.

Pleasant interface

The graphical user interface is quite intuitive, however, this does not mean that it is well-suited for people with limited computer knowledge. There are steps that need to be completed before you are able to view your own image during boot.

Operation

First of all, the application requires you to select the image. It is possible to import items with PNG, GIF, JPEG, BMP, ICO and other extensions. After this you need to crop the picture to conform with your preferences. The next step is to generate the bitmaps that will be used as the boot logos. You also have the ability to double-click each one of them to preview.

If you have the test-signing mode turned on, you can see the boot sequence with the custom image. In case it is disabled, you may toggle it within the main interface of the program. To commit the changes, you will need to restart the Windows Explorer process.
