Zandronum is a program for Windows that allows you to play a multiplayer version of Doom. This mod package brings the classic title into the 21st century, maintaining the essential gameplay features and adding various new ones to modernize it, creating a new experience.

Setup

Please note, in order to run the modification, you need to install Doom, Heretic, Hexe or Strife on your computer. If you do not have the aforementioned games, you can purchase and download them from various Internet marketplaces such as Steam or GOG Galaxy. It is also necessary to mention that Zandronum requires the latest version of the supported games.

Game modes

Once you have completed all the setup steps, you can launch the game by clicking on its desktop icon. Zandronum supports a reliable client and server structure, enabling you to play and switch between sessions with ease. What is more, it includes a variety of competitive and cooperative gameplay modes. including Team DM, Dule, CTF, Survival, Invasion and others.

Configuration

The application allows you to choose between OpenGL or the in-built renderer. In addition, you have access to such useful features as a console, key-bindings, freeloking and jumping. It is also worth noting that it supports a wide range of Skulltag mods. This means, you can add new announcers and skins for online play, as well as runes, weapons and monsters.
