Yahoo Axis is a Windows software for adding an extension to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and other popular web browsers. The plugin allows users to quickly find information with the help of the Yahoo search engine. Additionally, it is possible to synchronize the bookmarks and browsing history between the desktop and mobile devices.

Setup

You are prompted to select the correct browser during the installation process. The extension will be integrated automatically.

Please note that Yahoo Axis is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. Setup files are not available as well.

Home page

This add-on replaces the default starting page of the browser with a custom panel. It contains thumbnails for recently visited websites and a text field for searching information online. Users are able to quickly access Wikipedia, Yahoo, Google and other online services.

Like in Google Toolbar, you can add new favorite URLs to the homepage.

Browser synchronization

It is possible to install a counterpart mobile application to synchronize all bookmarks and opened pages between the computer and the phone. This functionality is helpful for efficient workflow organization.
