xImage is an application for Windows intended for interaction with the GPS modules of the Garmin company. It is used to process the media files received from these devices.

How it works

The software allows you to optimize the rendering of images from the modules and manage color grading. With its help you can send pictures to suitable GPS devices. To install the software, you need to link your gadget to the computer. Otherwise, it will not be possible to continue configuring. It is also worth noting that the navigator needs to be turned on. It is necessary to set the switch in the user interface to the host connection mode.

In addition, the utility has to be uploaded to the device it is intended for. Otherwise, it will be considered non-functional. If one or more attempts to load are unsuccessful, this may indicate a hardware failure.

Data management

The navigator application menu allows you to manage data on removable media, hard drives, and peripherals, such as scanners or cameras. Files can only be edited on PC, not on the unit. However, transferring video from a computer to the module is possible. The corresponding menu option lets you configure the parameters of each of the cameras if there is more than one.
