Xbox Backup Creator is a Windows program for copying Xbox 360 games to blank discs. You can use a backup if the original DVD is damaged or lost.
How it works
The first step is to read the game disc and copy its contents to the computer. One of the supported DVD drives is required for this operation. Moreover, it is necessary to apply a custom firmware to the device for correct disk reading. There are checkboxes for configuring advanced parameters like:
- delete on cancel;
- process AP25;
- add filler to video;
- eject after read;
- build clean ISO.
After copying all data you can insert a blank double layer DVD disc into the drive to create a backup. There is an included burning tool. Alternatively, it is possible to use Nero or Imgburn. All files can be verified after the writing is done.
Additional tools
Xbox 360 game discs have several security features and regional locks. This software contains instruments for removing all restrictions. Proprietary PFI and DMI sectors can be added to the final ISO image for better compatibility with the console.
There is an option for creating a log file that contains all details about the operation. It can be used for troubleshooting in case of technical issues.
