x360ce is a program for Windows that allows you to emulate the operation of the Xbox 360 game controller. With the help of this utility, you are able to connect and configure a variety of input devices, including gamepads, steering wheels, pedals and joysticks.
Setup and operation
The application does not require installation. This means, all you need to do is unpack the archive into a folder of your choice using WinRAR or WinZip. Then you can connect your gamepad to the computer and run the executable file.
The tool will automatically detect the device and prompt you to go through the setup procedure. Please note, it is not possible to use gaming controllers with Bluetooth support. It is necessary to mention that you have the ability to connect up to four input devices to the computer at the same time.
Configuration
What is more, you can customize each joystick and reassign actions to specific keys. To do this, you have to select the binding in the Controller tab and click the Record button. The software allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the right and left stick, as well toggle vibration feedback.
Once you have remapped the desired keys, you can visit the Game Settings and save the configuration. The last step is to make sure the controller works as intended by running a video game.
