WinDynamicDesktop is a Windows software that allows you to set up desktop wallpaper transitions. It is possible to access a wide variety of themes or select images on your device. Similar to f lux, this app requires your location data.

Working Principle

The utility switches between several wallpapers based on the time of day, determined by sunrise and sunset times. As darkness falls, the daytime landscape on the screen transitions to evening and then to night. The images in the theme are identical, differing only in their lighting levels.

Configuration

Upon launching the program, users need to specify their location by entering the name of their city or town. The program calculates the sunrise and sunset times for chosen location. Manual adjustments to settings are available.

The application comes with numerous ready-made themes. It is possible to download wallpaper collections or upload custom sets of images to use as wallpapers.

After completion of configuration, the program runs in the background and starts upon every computer activation. Users can change the schedule or disable wallpaper rotation at any moment.
