The tool was developed to assist users in interacting with microcontrollers manufactured by Sauer-Danfoss. There is support for debugging device apps.
WebGPI
WebGPI is a browser based program for Windows with a general purpose interface, designed for servicing Sauer-Danfoss microcontrollers. It is used for troubleshooting hydraulic systems, particularly in the context of equipment such as Genie lifts.
Description
Thanks to this advanced utility, you can upload default tuning values, applications, and operating systems to microcontrollers. It is possible to download data from devices and create dedicated files. You may also view and change as well as log and plot app values.
It is worth mentioning that the software comes with a special data logging instrument. The WebGPI-Log tool has data acquisition rates which are typically twice as fast as the WebGPI. This solution is deployed during the installation of the main program.
Interface and support
After launch, you are presented with a comprehensive graphical interface. The layout houses controls for accessing functions and displaying information. The panes contained within the workspace allow you to view, change, and log microcontroller application values.
The utility is accompanied by a user manual which provides tips for troubleshooting, calibrating, and programming. Please note that the software is no longer distributed by the developers. If you would like to configure internal memory of microcontrollers from Texas Instruments, you may try a tool like UniFlash.
