Ventoy is a lightweight program for Windows intended to streamline the process of creating bootable USB drives from ISO items. This approach provides an advantage when reinstalling your operating system by eliminating the need for time consuming disk formatting.

Create bootable USB drives

In contrast to other utilities that generate bootable flash drives by relying on the OS kernel to access the hardware storage media, this software employs a distinct methodology. It involves storing information in runtime memory prior to booting.

As a result, the operating system can identify that the data is being loaded from a virtual disk. It locates the required source for the operation and initiates the process. This is done without creating the traditional hook, as seen in conventional booting methods.

Extensive compatibility

One of the important features of this tool is its capability to include multiple ISO files. This arrangement leads to the display of a menu upon boot, allowing you to select from the available options. Alternatively, you may try a program called Acronis OS Selector.

Please note that the application offers compatibility with ISO files exceeding 4 GB and supports both native UEFI and Legacy BIOS modes. Notably, the developers state that their solution has been successfully tested with over one hundred and sixty different files.
