Uncertainty Calculator is a Windows utility for performing complex mathematical calculations. There is a comprehensive library of standard functions that can be used to model measurement processes. Please note that Uncertainty Calculator is obsolete and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Main purpose

With the help of this tool users can estimate Type A and Type B uncertainties that are found in statistical analysis, repeated measurements or manufacturer specifications. Moreover, it is possible to calculate the combined uncertainty of multiple separate results by propagating them through an advanced mathematical model of the measurement process.

The program is based on the Guide to the Expression of Uncertainty in Measurement, which is an international standard for this type of calculations.

Additional capabilities

There is a collection of mathematical functions and data propagation methods. You are able to export the results to a wide variety of popular file formats for further analysis in Mathcad or another similar application.

Tools for creating new measurement models are included. Users can define custom specifications and insert functions to personalize the project.
