Tarsia is a special program for Windows designed to assist math teachers in organizing their lessons and making the learning more enjoyable for students. It allows them to hide problems under the form of jigsaw or domino puzzles and design interactive activities.

Overview

The software solution is capable of creating both standard or complex jigsaws of different shapes and dimensions, as well as domino games based on math problems and learning cards. It comes with a collection of samples that offer a starting point for your first lesson.

It is necessary to note that the equation editor includes a wide range of functions, operators and symbols that may be used for building simple and complicated expressions. In order to simplify your workflow, each one can be sent to the library and inserted in the future.

Insert images and math symbols

The application enables you to insert text along with shape and mathematical equations. This helps you embed detailed explanations and tutorials within the project. Moreover, you are able to make lesson pages more interactive by adding locally stored pictures.

Customize text

You can configure and save Styles, which define the font type and color for writing text, inserting variables, operators, functions, numbers or Greek symbols. The results may be exported to third-party programs like MathML or Mathcad.
