Installation

Before proceeding with music creation, it is worth noting that Sylenth1 is a VST plugin. This means in order to run it properly you need to install a digital audio workstation that supports virtual studio technology, such as Cubase, Nuendo or FL Studio.

Description

Sylenth1 is an analog synthesizer that provides a wide range of components necessary for music production, such as oscillators, modulators, filters and sound effects.

The plugin comes with four oscillators for generating analog waveforms. Each one can generate up to eight stereo voices, which amount to up to 32 per note. Since there are 16 notes of polyphony, you are able to play close to 512 voices at the same time.

Additional functions

In addition, the utility allows you to use two analog filters, two ADSR envelopes and two LFOS, as well as various modulation functions. These sound effects include an arpeggiator, phaser, chorus, flanger equalizer, delay and reverb, along with a compressor.
