SuperAuthor is a Windows utility for converting audio tracks to the SACD format. There is support for both stereo and multi channel inputs. You are able to edit and merge individual songs. Please note that SuperAudio is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer. The installation files are not available.

Brief overview

This software allows users to create high quality audio tracks and record them to optical media. It is compatible with the Direct Stream Digital and CD Text formats. Moreover, instruments for editing PQ values to enhance the sound quality are available.

There is support for ISRC codes. You can manually edit songs before conversion by trimming them, removing individual sections and normalizing the volume.

The main window contains all information about the current project, including the track list, PQ table, target optical drive and other details. Users are able to edit internal metadata.

Recording

Similar to Nero, you can burn resulting images to optical discs. The writing speed is customizable. There is an option to verify the data after finishing the process to make sure that the operation was successful.
