SplashID is a Windows application that lets you manage all personal passwords in one interface. There are versions for all popular mobile platforms as well as browser extensions for Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Microsoft Edge.

Overview

This software provides instruments for storing a password library. Users can install additional browser plugins to automatically fill credentials in web forms. It is possible to manually add new items in the secure storage container.

Like in LastPass, you are able to create new content categories for easier navigation. Default types include bank accounts, addresses, safe combinations, credit cards, phone numbers, vehicle license plates and other groups. All information is fully encrypted and can be accessed only by entering the master password.

Please note that the free version of SplashID contains limited functionality.

Synchronization parameters

An option to keep all records in the cloud storage is available. This way users can access protected information from anywhere. Alternatively, it is possible to configure local Wi-Fi synchronization for additional security.

You can schedule automatic backups to prevent data loss in case of hardware failure.
