Samsung DeX is a program for Windows that helps you to improve your mobile experience. Basically, you have the ability to connect your smartphone or tablet to your personal computer and manage it in windowed mode.

Goal

The application was designed to expand the functionality of Samsung mobile devices. It is possible to broadcast an image to a PC monitor by expanding it to full screen. You can also control your portable devices by using the mouse and keyboard.

Please note that Galaxy S8, Galaxy Note 8 and Tab S4 models are supported. What is more, the manufacturer has released a docking station called simply Dex Station, which comes equipped with ports for connecting your mobile device. Alternatively, you may attach your smartphone to a computer directly via USB cable.

Management

After linking your Samsung product, you need to run the utility and wait for the device to be discovered. It is necessary to mention that you need to put it into USB debugging mode. Once you get access to the graphical interface, you are able to receive calls, write messages, view and edit photographs, as well as open files.
