PaleoCraft is a survival single, multiplayer and LAM mod for Minecraft. The main goal of this program is to fill the emptiness of in-game worlds by adding a separate dinosaur dimension with realistic species. The new mobs come in all shapes and sizes. Some are big, some are small, there are aggressive creatures, and even tameable ones.

Setup

First of all you need to download and install Minecraft Forge or various all-in-one clients like Feed the Beast. The next step is to go to the Minecraft mods folder. If it does not exist you can create one. Then you need to simply drag and drop the JAR file into it.

Dinosaurs

The modification offers a considerable amount of new animals and behaviors. For example, Dromaeosaurus acts similarly to wolves. They are tameable with raw meat and will attack chickens. It is necessary to note that if one member is attacked, the entire pack becomes aggressive. These creatures drop feathers upon death and jump when attacking, just like spiders.

The Dimorphodon behaves like bats. They fly and sometimes land on the ground. However, they cannot move while standing. The Baryonyx stays near water, fishes and gets agitated when you get too close to it. One of the more interesting mobs is the Troodon. These dinosaurs avoid bright light and their eyes glow in the dark.
