Optika Vision Lite is a Windows program for working with microscopes. It is possible to process the information and create comprehensive reports.
Acquiring data
This software allows users to capture still images from any Optika microscope. Video recording is available as well. Users can select a region of the screen to work with as well as zoom in and out. There are adjustable camera parameters such as the white balance, frame rate, brightness, contrast and saturation.
Settings for the mouse cursor visibility are provided. You are able to leave the pointer in the recorded video or delete it. Additionally, highlighting mouse movements and clicks is possible. This feature is helpful for creating lessons and tutorials.
It is worth mentioning that Optika Vision Lite is only compatible with several microscopes. To work with a wide range of devices users can download MicroManager.
Measurement options
Every captured image is displayed in the main window. You are able to measure objects on the pictures and draw arrows to emphasize the important parts. Full screen mode is available. It is possible to add an adjustable linear grid for further calculations.
Data reports
Tools for exporting the measurements to a CSV table are provided as well. All images can be saved in a BMP, JPG or TIFF format. There is an option to add a company logo to the pictures.
