NOGBA is a portable console emulation program for Windows. It is capable of running both commercial and homebrew Nintendo DS and Gameboy Advance games at full speed with no performance issues. In addition, it also features multiplayer support.

Brief review

The software is very easy to deploy, set up and use. It is recommended you have a Nintendo DS game prepared when you first launch the emulator, as it asks for the image file immediately. There is an extensive catalog of DS and GBA ROMS available online and the application can handle a significant number of them. Alternatively, you may try a program dedicated solely to Gameboy Advance titles like Visual Boy Advance.

Emulation and configuration

In order to access the configuration interface, you need to press F11. Afterwards, you will see two tabs, one for emulation settings, another for configuring your control settings. Please note, these parameters have to be changed only if the game does not work properly or requires a specific emulation setup. Once you load the ROM file, you will have access to both screens as you would on a classic console. The upper window is controlled using classic commands while the other one is able to detect mouse clicks.
