NewlyDraw is a Windows application for laser engraving. It is compatible with professional machines from various manufacturers. Like in EZCAD, users are able to control the speed and power of the laser. Please note that NewlyDraw is discontinued and no longer supported by the developer.

Project creation

You can import pictures or begin drawing from scratch. There are instruments for adding various geometrical shapes, lines and text blocks to the layout. The page orientation and workspace size are customizable.

It is possible to vectorize imported bitmap images. This functionality is helpful for enlarging small objects without quality loss.

Engraving settings

The program allows users to select the correct machine model from the drop down menu. Tools for changing the delay, gap size and the number of copies are included. Moreover, there is an option to reset the laser position.

After configuring all hardware properties you can send the design for engraving by clicking the corresponding button. The approximate time required for executing the task is displayed in the main window.
