Moonphase is a Windows software that allows users to get various information about the moon. There is an option to specify the location coordinates for getting more accurate data.

How to use

After starting the utility you can calculate the moon phase in a certain location at the predefined moment. The calendar is set to the current date and time by default. There is an option to switch the first day of the week between Monday and Sunday. Additional calendar is available for viewing good fishing days.

All time zones are listed in the main window. Users can enable summer time and shift the time by 0.5 hours for synchronizing with certain regions. Alternatively, it is possible to choose the location on the world map or enter fixed coordinates.

Displayed data

Predicted moon rise, transit and set timestamps are provided. There is information about the current phase and distance to our closest cosmic neighbor. Moreover, users are able to view the details about the next sunrise and sunset at the location.

An animated moon image is displayed in the upper left corner of the window. It provides a visual reference for the current phase and can be used for comparison.
